When Monique migrated to the united states, she began modeling under the name Monica Franco, but later she changed her name to Monica Fuentes, but to possibly avoid any controversy with the character in 2 Fast 2 Furious, She changed her name to Monique Fuentes. After seeing the public reaction of her nude pictures, Monique Fuentes’ fiancé suggested to her to enter porn, and after a short career, she somewhat retired, only to perform nude modeling.
