Maki Tomoda (友田真希 Tomoda Maki, born August 20, 1972 in Kanagawa Prefecture) is an award-winning Japanese AV and softcore actress best known for her ‘mature woman’ or ‘madame’ roles as well as her hardcore S&M and lesbian scenes in a career spanning from 2002 to 2010, with over 300 scene appearances and over 80 video releases. Making her AV debut in 2002 with the mature title,” Madame Erotica” after her 30th birthday, Tomoda quickly established herself as one of the premiere Japanese MILF performers in the increasingly popular ‘mature’ genre. In December 2003, she appeared in “Man-Eating Mature Women - Semen Squeezing,” her first for AV studio Madonna, specializing in "mature women" content and continued to make about one movie a month for them until 2005. In December 2004, Tomoda appeared in her first fetish themed video in an installment of director TOHJIRO's S&M series “Confinement Chair Trance” for fetish studio Dogma. Since then, Tomoda would be a regular S&M performer for Dogma until the end of her career. Meanwhile, Tomoda’s first "uncensored movie" was “ Zoom Vol. 10 Immoral Wife” (January 2005) and she appeared in two more in 2006: “Erotic Apron - Maki Tomoda” and “Green Fantasy Special Adute Idol.” Tomoda was given the Erotic Cinderella award for Best Actress in the 2006 D-1 Climax Awards ceremony, along with Chihiro Hasegawa and Mayura Hoshitsuki. That same year, she made her first foray into mainstream features with the independent French-Japanese documentary “Kage no Hikari” and starred in several pink films (softcore theatrical releases) including “Best Friend's Wife: The Black Panties of a Secret Rendezvous” (2008) for which she won a Best New Actress award at the Pink Grand Prix and Best Actress at the Pinky Ribbon Awards. After a long and very prolific career, in March 2010 Tomoda announced that she was retiring from the AV industry and that her retirement video would be released by Dogma in June 2010, “Maki Tomoda - Last Waltz Retired Rope Work” directed by TOHJIRO.
